About Us

MIRACLES LTD, is a Georgia non-profit organization established to provide disaster relief to livestock, equestrian, homesteading, and other agricultural operations, farming families, and their communities. 501(c)3 approved. 

Meet Our Board Members

Meg Morgan, Founder & President of MIRACLES, is a professional trainer at her farm in Newnan, GA, Simply Southern Eventing, where she trains, competes, and coaches clients. She also runs Morgan’s Market, a wholesale nursery production and local farmers market, with her husband, Tommy – a small business that has been in her family for over 50 years. 

Her idea for MIRACLES came about after she witnessed so many who were not getting the help they needed- from dairy farmers to Christmas tree growers to private farmettes and venues. 

Meg holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science Production from Auburn University. 

 

Misti Freeland, MS-ERM is a Washington D.C. area Risk Management professional who has volunteered with animal crisis care and management internationally in Jordan and Uganda, as well as in the US as a horse professional.  

Growing up in the outer banks of North Carolina, she has spent her life navigating small town life and natural disasters. 

Misti holds a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in International Politics & Human Geography from UNC-Chapel Hill. 

Misti serves as VP and Treasurer for MIRACLES. 

Eleanor Cheatham, MA, LPC is a licensed professional counselor based in Newnan, GA. She specializes in addiction and trauma treatment utilizing an array of modalities, including tradition CBT, EMDR, and Sandtray Therapy. A life long equestrian, she plans to begin a program in equine assisted therapy.  

Eleanor is a graduate of La Grange College with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and holds a BA in History from San Francisco State University.

Eleanor serves as the Board Secretary for MIRACLES.
