Our Story
Born out of a relief trip for Hurricane Helene
MIRACLES was founded by Meg Morgan & Misti Freeland after a spontaneous relief trip to Western North Carolina in response to Hurricane Helene. While there, they spent their time running supplies to farms in a 50 mile radius around Asheville. Every time they passed a property that seemed in need, they stopped to have conversations. They began hearing the same problem over and over again: certain farming families were not receiving the assistance they needed, either because they were smaller homesteading operations, or because they were caught in a web of local politics and bureaucratic tape. These families needed supplies immediately while they waited for federal relief or insurance.
A week later, MIRACLES LTD. was formed, for the purposes of filling the gaps for those ag families who are often missed or forgotten.

We believe it takes neighbors near and far to cover all the needs of a community suffering.
Partnership
We partner with various groups, including Veteran's Affairs and local ag extensions, to survey needs.
Direct Impact
We ensure donations go direct to recipients by delivering supplies and man-power.
